President

Coretta is a native of Anniston, AL.  She graduated from Anniston High School in 1986 and entered the University of Alabama, where she majored in Social Work.  She received her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from U of A in 1990 and her license soon thereafter. Upon graduation from U of A, she returned to Anniston to practice Social Work.  She began her career at Hospice of East AL (now Southern New Beacon Hospice), where she worked for over 4 years.  She began working at the Calhoun County Health Department in 1995 and remained there until retirement in 2024, after 28 years. Coretta is married to Marlon Morris. Together, they have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.  She is a member of Kingdom Place Ministries. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Coretta has been a part of the ASAP family since 2013.  She enjoys serving on the board and participating in the community events.


Wes Couch

My name is Wes Couch. My wife and I are long time residents of Anniston, AL along with our daughter, Susannah. I enjoy traveling, playing golf, cooking, and spending time with family. It's my pleasure to serve as a board member for ASAP and support all of the wonderful things that the agency does.

Darren Douthitt

Treasurer

Darren Douthitt retired after spending 27 years serving public schools in Alabama.  He served students in various school districts and held positions as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent.  The last ten years of his career were spent as a superintendent in Butler County and Anniston City Schools. He is currently working as an educator in Douglas County Schools in Georgia.  Douthitt is very active in his community and serves on various boards and is a member of numerous professional organizations.  Most notably, he is a past president of the Jacksonville State University Alumni Association and the immediate past president of the Epsilon Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. A native of Ohatchee, Alabama, Douthitt presently lives in Dearmanville, Alabama with his wife, Tonya.  He and his wife have one adult son, Jaren, and one grandchild, SeKani.

Vicky Trammell

Vicki Trammell is an Academic Advisor III at Jacksonville State University's College of Business & Industry, where she provides guidance to students on academic planning and career development. She holds a degree in Student Personnel & Counseling from Jacksonville State University. Vicki's commitment to student success is evident through her personalized advising approach, assisting students in achieving their educational and professional objectives.
